This week we continue our look at several Class of 2022 uncommitted players from the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC). Players were nominated by their coaches. GK Javier Alonso Valcarcel, Pomfret School (Conn.)
ASSESSMENT: Highly technical, excellent distributor, shot-stopper, and ability to make high-level reaction saves. Had a season-high 12 saves against Worcester Academy.

M Declan Chapman, Pomfret School (Conn.)
STATS: 8 goals, 5 assists
ASSESSMENT: Center attacking midfielder. Excellent technical ability, fantastic vision, ball winner, and very hard to take the ball from him.

F Fred Coulibaly, Pomfret School (Conn.)
STATS: 6 goals
ASSESSMENT: Target forward, strong body, hold-up forward. Leading goalscorer his sophomore season. Highly technical, hard to get the ball from, talented when facing goal and with back to goal.

F Allesandro Lancia, St. Andrew’s (R.I.)
STATS: 36 goals
ASSESSMENT: Led the team in scoring (scored a hat trick in all three NEPSAC Class C Playoff games), is an excellent striker who can play with his back to the goal, is not afraid of physicality very courageous, mentally tough, finishes well with his head can win duels in the air, able to create time and space for himself. He is a top-class player.

D Julio Lopez, St. Andrew’s (R.I.)
ASSESSMENT: A solid outside back who competes during losing moments, reacts well to bad calls, is aggressive 1v1, has a very good work rate.
M Grant Maurer, Pomfret School (Conn.)
STATS: 6 goals, 8 assists
ASSESSMENT: Team Captain, All-WNEPSSA, Connecticut All-State, Honorable Mention All-New England. Box-to-box midfielder, highly technical, physical, fast, and explosive. Excellent vision, and a workhorse.

M Adam Osorio, St. Andrew’s (R.I.)
ASSESSMENT: A very solid central midfielder, small in stature but can really get stuck in on contact, great vision, excellent leadership, he can get free in tight marking, plays for others as much as he plays for himself.
D Joseph Rezendes Joseph Rezendes D MA , Worcester Academy (Mass.)
ASSESSMENT: Rezendes plays for NEFC-ECNL 2004s.
CB/OB Eumir Rodriguez, Pomfret School (Conn.)
STATS: 3 goals, 3 assists
ASSESSMENT: Team Captain, All-WNEPSSA Selection, Connecticut All-State, All-New England Honors. The Dominican Republic native has top-level speed, excellent one on one defender, one of the best defenders in NEPSAC during the fall of 2021. Highly technically, physical, and tough.

ASSESSMENT: A quick outside left winger, with a solid left foot, a good dead ball/set-piece taker.
