The 2009 team, the U13s, are especially talented with four very special players who appear to be impact players for the club going forward, for whatever high school they attend and all four could be legitimate Division I recruits.
Keira Bromwell, Central Defender
Bromwell is a player that had always played a year up and recently started to play in her own age group and it was seen just how dominant she can be. She is a player that reads the game very well. She kills a lot of attacks with her anticipation but also starts attacks as well because she is good with the ball and can drive up the field. A top player with a high IQ and the ability to build out of the back.
Jazleen Cerda-Padilla, Attacker
Cerda-Padilla is a player that can play in just about any attacking player. She is a wide player now but could settle in to be an attacking midfielder at some point. She is very talented, creative and clever. She is tricky on the dribble and has a move for just about anything thrown at her.
Lulu Giometti, Striker/Attacking Midfielder
Giometti is a young 2009. She has played all over the pitch, including as an outside back for PDP. She is the ultimate competitor who puts in hard work and is never satisfied. She can score goals, she can defend, she can do it all. She’s also a stud basketball player, playing club two years up from her age, showing just how athletic she is.
Julia Meyerberg, Central Defender/Central Midfielder
Meyerberg can play in the back or in the midfield and has played midfield an age group up. She is great at winning in 1v1 situations, she can defend from any position on the field, and likewise, she can attack from anywhere on the pitch as well. She is a matchup winner, wherever she is. She is really, really strong in the air which is very impressive for any defender/midfielder in this age group.
