Girls ECNL Texas: Day 3 Top Performers from the Ohio Valley

The third day of competition brought sunshine, tough competition, and tired legs. That did not stop these girls from upping their game and standing out.
D <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="26209" first="Caroline" last="Betts"]</strong> (Tennessee Soccer Club 03/04) put her team up 1-0 with a goal in the first half vs DKSC.
F<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="22409" first="Tatum" last="Coleman"]</strong> (FC Pride 05) made great runs on the wing. Her ability to bring the ball up the side and cross in front of the net kept the AHFC defense busy.
M <strong>Harper Gibson</strong> (Tennessee Soccer Club 08) was very solid in the midfield displaying great passing range and covering ground to stop opposition attacks.
D <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="22328" first="Kamryn" last="Hoyda"]</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="22255" first="Anna" last="Spellacy"], [player_tooltip player_id="22304" first="Erika" last="Wells"], [player_tooltip player_id="22351" first="Lily" last="Haraburda"], [player_tooltip player_id="22325" first="Josslyn" last="Goss"],</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="22399" first="Shelbi" last="Hess"]</strong> (FC Pride 05) put together an outstanding team effort on defense vs AHFC. Their communication, hard work, and consistent play helped preserve the 0-0 tie.
GK<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="37262" first="Peyton" last="Hull"]</strong> (FC Pride 05) had two shutouts on the weekend. Her communication on the field is a great compliment to ability to make dazzling saves.
D<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="26259" first="Leah" last="Johnson"]</strong> (Tennessee Soccer Club 05) was a tenacious defender vs Solar SC. In the 1-0 victory, her leadership and effort coming forward proved dangerous on the attack.
M<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="22540" first="Azalea" last="Mihailovich"]</strong> (Pittsburg Riverhounds 03/04) was a threat to score throughout the weekend. Her ability to pass and get open challenged the Sting Royal Dallas defense.
F<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="26267" first="Madeline" last="Padelski"]</strong> (Tennessee Soccer Club 07) was a constant threat up front with her dribbling ability and her speed to outrun defenders onto through balls.
D <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="26220" first="Ella" last="Riley"]</strong> (Tennessee Soccer Club 03/04) anchored a strong defensive effort from the center back position which secured a 1-1 tie against DKSC.
F <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="22298" first="Emily" last="Roper"]</strong> (Indiana Fire 03/04) was a great presence upfront scoring 3 goals in 3 games. Her work rate defensively and assistance in the air helped relieve pressure as the Fire defeated Heat FC 1-0.
