April is one of the busiest months in the youth soccer calendar. Most club teams return to league action after the winter or high school break. There is a new start to a high school season for the states that play in the spring. On top of the regular programming, there is also the historic tournaments like Jefferson Cup and Dallas Cup from the end of March to April.
Over the last few weeks, we’ve had a number of submissions for Player of the Week honors from both the club and high school game. Addison Miller Addison Miller 5'7" | F Lee (ISA- Magnet) | 2025 State TX , Classics Elite 07 ECNL – Miller scored a goal and won a penalty kick in the win over Panther City FC in group play at the Dallas International Cup. Classics Elite won their group with a 3-0 record, and plus 13 goal differential.
Jordan Hill Jordan Hill 5'8" | F Hebron | 2026 State #29 Nation TX , Solar SC 08 – Hill scored two goals in the 3-0 win over OK Energy. She also scored both goals in the championship game of the Dallas International Girls Cup. Evan O’Steen Evan O’Steen GK State #4 Nation TX , Lexi Khan, Gracie Black, Nina Dukette, Rhiannon Mahon Rhiannon Mahon 5'10" | D Prosper | 2026 State #33 Nation TX , London Young London Young M State TX , and Kamdyn Fuller Kamdyn Fuller M Southlake Carroll | 2026 State #32 Nation TX were also recommended as standouts from Solar SC.
Sophia Moore Sophia Moore M Byron Nelson | 2025 State #204 Nation TX , BVB International Academy North America National Select Team – Moore scored a goal and had an assist in a friendly match vs SGS Essen U17 in Dortmund Germany. The BVB National team came away with the 2-1 win over a the No. 4 ranked Bundesliga Junior team lead by four U17 German National team players. Sadie Ozmey, Annika Daniel, Courtlyn Cook Courtlyn Cook D Guyer | 2024 TX , and Layla Amaya Layla Amaya GK TX were also standouts for BVB.
Morgan Paley Morgan Paley GK McKinney North (TX) | 2024 State #85 Nation TX / Peyton Roberts Peyton Roberts GK TX , Solar SC 06 – Paley and Roberts combined in goal for two shutouts over the weekend. The Solar defense of Emerson Andrews Emerson Andrews 5'8" | D Highland Park (TX) | 2024 #193 Nation TX , Aria Craig Aria Craig null | D BYU | 2024 TX , Cameron Byrd Cameron Byrd null | D Mansfield | 2025 State #53 Nation TX , Abby Mills, Bella Pasion Bella Pasion D Lebanon Trail (TX) | 2024 State TX , Alexa Barker Alexa Barker null | D Allen | 2025 State #113 Nation TX , and Elena Rodriguez contributed to the two games with zero goals conceded. Emeri Adames Emeri Adames F Waxahachie Life (TX) | 2024 State #6 Nation TX scored the lone goal of the weekend for Solar off an assist from Kennedy Fuller Kennedy Fuller 5'5" | F Southlake Carroll (TX) | 2024 #1 Nation TX . Paley was also a standout for Solar SC 06 during the Dallas Cup Championship.
Quinn Bedwell, Bavarian Soccer Club 08 – Bedwell scored both goals in a 2-0 win over Michigan Hawks. Bavarian Soccer Club has now won four games in a row in MLS Next play.
Kennedy Fuller Kennedy Fuller 5'5" | F Southlake Carroll (TX) | 2024 #1 Nation TX , Southlake Carroll – Fuller, a freshman, scored three goals in the UIL Class 6A state championship 4-0 win over Rockwall. She finished her rookie season with 26 goals and 15 assists. She had 12 goals during the run to the state championship.
Aidan Matheson Aidan Matheson F Pinnacle | 2023 AZ , Phoenix Rising 05 – Matheson scored both goals in a 2-2 draw against Heat FC in boys ECNL play over the weekend.
