From a big upset in Southern California to a Texas-based player having a day with the Mexico national team, there were plenty of stars from the youth game all over the country last weekend.

Last week’s winner was Kennedy Fuller Kennedy Fuller 5'5" | F Southlake Carroll (TX) | 2024 #1 Nation TX . Fuller, a star at the club and high school level, was the leading scorer for her high school team on the way to the UIL 6A State Championship. Check out this week’s nominees below. Grace Miller Grace Miller null | GK Patrick Henry (CA) | 2024 CA , Rebels SC 06 – Miller and the Rebels squad shocked the Slammers FC HB Koge on Saturday with a 2-1 win. Slammers was undefeated on the season coming into the game on a 21-game unbeaten run in league play. Miller was the star in goal with a number of crucial saves in the 2-1 victory for Rebels.
Isabelle Devey Isabelle Devey null | F Lone Peak | 2025 #146 Nation UT , La Roca FC 06 – Devey scored three goals in the two wins over the weekend for La Roca. She scored twice against Mustang SC on Saturday, and then added another goal on Sunday in the win over Pleasanton Rage.
Patrick Lopresti, Pittsburgh Riverhounds 05 – Lopresti scored a goal and had an assist in the first half in the big win over Louisville City Academy on Sunday.
Samori McKell-Jeffers, FC Pride 07 – McKell-Jeffers and the FC Pride defense finished the Blue Chip Showcase with only one goal conceded from the three games. The goalkeeper has four shutouts in his last five games.
Ava DeJesus, Sting Dallas Royal 06 – DeJesus scored the game-winner against Classics Elite on Sunday. She also had an assist on the game-winning goal on Saturday against Sting Austin. Sting Dallas Royal had a six-point weekend with two shutouts. Alexia Hernandez was in goal for both shutouts.
Axel Gonzalez, Houston Dynamo/Mexico U16 NT – Gonzalez scored three goals in the Mexico U16 National Team’s win over Barca Residency Academy. Chicago Fire’s Gael Melo also scored for Mexico in the victory.
