F William Altirs, Cedar Stars Academy-Bergen — A team captain, Altirs showed his leadership ability by demanding to take — and converting — a penalty shot that he earned when his cross was handled by a defender.
M Casey Bag, New York SC — Bag was good at running at defenses and laying it off for teammates.
F Zain Elder, Michigan Wolves — Worked well in tight spaces in order to create chances for himself.
F Oscar Manzanarez, Lamorinda SC — Made strong runs at defenders from his wing position. He also stayed with the play and created assists.
F Alan Ramirez, Queen City — Ramirez showed exceptional footwork in tight spaces to create chances for himself. When he wasn’t able to shake the defender, he usually drew a foul.
D Brenden Tuey, Lamorinda SC — Great recovery speed. He was a solid 1v1 defender who stepped up and broke up attacks.
