F Anna Sikorski Anna Sikorski M Muskego (WI) | 2024 #94 Nation WI , Muskego, So.
Sikorski had a terrific weekend. She opened the series with a goal and an assist in the state semifinal against De Pere. She also scored in the state championship game against her old school, DSHA. Her speed, versatility, and power are elite.
F Zoey Pagels, Oregon, Sr.
Pagels is probably the favorite to win Player of the Year in Wisconsin. The Wisconsin-Green Bay signee finished the year with 25 goals and 20 assists. Her semifinal performance was extraordinary as she was responsible for four of her team’s five goals.
GK Payton Lang, Oregon, Sr.
It’s hard not to include the anchor of the Oregon defense who only conceded three goals all season. The Wisconsin-Green Bay signee continued that shutout streak with several key saves against Whitefish Bay and Cedarburg to capture a state championship.
M Taylor Rinzel, New Berlin Eisenhower, Sr.
Rinzel was responsible for all three second-half goals against Lakeland in the semifinal. She assisted in the 44th minute and added two goals in the 47th and 48th minutes of the game. Rinzel’s ball control, unselfishness, and awareness is what stood out. Rinzel scored another goal and assisted twice in the state championship.
F Lauren Hernandez, New Berlin Eisenhower, Sr.
She’s been the anchor to Eisenhower’s electrifying attack. Hernandez scored a hat trick in the state championship game. Before that, she scored the eventual game-winning goal against Lakeland in the semifinal.
F Layla Kelbel, Lake County Lutheran, Sr.
The D4 schools don’t get much attention. But lots of these programs have underrated and elite talent. Layla Kelbel is surely one of those players. The senior midfielder committed to Drake for next fall. She scored twice in the state semifinal, and again in the championship. She also assisted in the championship. Kelbel ended the season with 35 goals.
F Brooke Kerwin, Lake County Lutheran, Sr.
Kerwin is another highly impactful player for Lutheran. She has terrific ball control and scoring abilities as a forward. Kerwin scored the game-tying goal in the championship game on Saturday. On Friday, she scored two goals in a state semifinal victory.
