Peyton Kohls Peyton Kohls 5'6" | F Mount Notre Dame (Ohio) | 2023 #105 Nation OH , Forward, Cincinnati United
Kohls had a standout campaign for her high school (Mt. Notre Dame), which earned her the Gatorade State Player of the Year for Ohio. She is a forward with a knack for scoring goals in big moments. The goal scoring prowess is no surprise as she has shown great composure in front of goal at the highest level in the club game. The most impressive element about Kohls’ season is that she continues to add elements to her game. The drive to improve set her apart on the high school field this season. She is going to be one to watch for the future. She is a verbal commit to Xavier.
Mai Ly Marella Mai Ly Marella 5'7" | D #112 Nation OH , Defender/Midfielder, Cleveland Force
Marella is a super intelligent player. She reads the game so well. She is a standout in the center back role with the qualities on the ball to fill in as a defensive midfielder. She knows when to step and when to drop for coverage. While in possession of the ball, she does an excellent job at scanning the field and locating options. She can play a slip class against a flat backline, and does well in recognizing when it’s on. Marella has a lot of tools to suggest a long future in the game. She is a verbal commit to Ohio State.
Laudan Wilson Laudan Wilson M Paola (KS) | 2023 #116 Nation MO , Midfielder, KC Athletics
Wilson is a box-to-box midfielder who has been a standout in the ECNL for the last couple of seasons. She is a determined player and covers the ground to help her team win. She is not afraid to put in a lung-busting run to stop a counter, or attempt a tackle to stop an attack. She is serious about her defensive responsibilities and does not take plays off on that side of the ball. Wilson has good attacking instincts too. She is an excellent passer and does well taking her first touch away from pressure when receiving the ball. Cleaning up her first touch regardless of the quality of entry pass will be key to her succeeding at the next level. She has all of the tools to be an all-conference contributor in the future. She is a verbal commit to Oklahoma State.
Olivia Duray Olivia Duray M Benet Academy (IL) | 2023 #119 Nation IL , Midfielder, FC United
Duray showed during the Girls Academy League Playoffs that she can compete against the best midfielders in the country and hold her own. She is difficult to knock off the ball and technically gifted to work out of tight areas, which makes her a great fit for a possession-based style of play. She has great vision and can ping passes all over the field. She is a verbal commit to the University of Pittsburgh.
Lydia LeBlanc Lydia LeBlanc F Gardner (MA) | 2023 #122 Nation MA , Midfielder, FC Stars of Massachusetts
LeBlanc caught the eyes of Youth National Team scouts this year and earned a call-up to the U.S. U17 Women’s National Team for a camp in February. She is one of the top defensive midfielders in the country. Her ability to time a slide tackle or a challenge in the center of the field is excellent. She is good at connecting passes between the lines. She is a verbal commit to UConn.
Samiah Shell Samiah Shell F Auburn Riverside (WA) | 2023 #128 Nation WA , Forward, Pac NW
Shell impressed scouts at the ECNL National Selection Game in January. She showed that she can go against and beat the best defenders in the country. Shell is more likely to beat a player with her skill than her speed. She is clever in her actions and uses fakes well to create space. She is strong on the ball and can hold defenders off in challenges. She is an excellent finisher and does not waste touches around the box. She is one of the top forwards from the Northwest from the class of 2023. She is a verbal commit to Washington.
Cameron Bourne Cameron Bourne null | F Archbishop Murphy (WA) | 2023 #143 Nation WA , Forward, Crossfire Premier
Bourne is a dynamic attacking talent on the wing. She is capable of scoring from seemingly impossible angles. She is an excellent striker of the ball. She is great in 1v1 situations because she has quick feet to get past defenders and get off a snapshot. Bourne is a verbal commit to Oregon for the class of 2023.
