PHOENIX, Arizona - The first ECNL National Event (for the high school age groups) was held over the weekend at the Reach 11 Sports Complex. PrepSoccer was on hand throughout the weekend.

After scouting over dozens of games throughout the three-day event, PrepSoccer highlights the standout performances from the 2024 class - broken down into committed and uncommitted prospects.

There will be standouts from the other class coming out in other days.

ECNL Phoenix: 2024 Uncommitted Standouts

Gemma Gillespie, Eclipse Select 06 - Gillespie, the captain of the Eclipse Select 06 team, played as the right center back against Slammers FC HB Koge in the 4-3 win on Friday. She was a standout in the game for her game awareness. She did an excellent job at scanning the field and taking inventory of player placement. She made good choices with her passes - she also takes the free kicks for her side. She was a standout defensively as well.

Danielle Gichner, Eclipse Select 06 - Gichner, the other center back for Eclipse, was the perfect partner for Gillespie. They played off each other and compliment each's strengths. Gichner did well in the tackle. She was smart in her challenges and timed her tackles well.

Olivia Anderson, Eclipse Select 06 - Anderson stood out for her play in the midfield. She was lively in the first half, buzzing about on the pitch. She did not shy away from a challenge and seemed to enjoy the competition. She has quick feet that escaped tackles.

[player_tooltip player_id='20264' first='Sydney' last='Head'], Pleasanton Rage 06 - Head was a standout on Friday in the 2-1 win over Sporting CA. She made a nice diving save. She also showed secure hands in securing a cross in traffic.

[player_tooltip player_id='20036' first='Olivia' last='Walinski'], Pleasanton Rage 06 - Walinski ran away from defenders with ease. With an electric burst, she caught the eye of many scouts in attendance. The 2024 forward is a handful for defenders. She is quick on the turn and hard to dispossess.

Jenna McDonnell, Pleasanton Rage 06 - McDonnell stood out to me for her passing. She hit a couple of clean passes to split the lines against Sporting CA. She puts the ball on her teammates foot with pace, an excellent quality that will transition to the next level.

Kaylynn Walker, Sporting CA Arsenal - Walker, the 5-10 center back, is a fearless defender. She had a nice block against Rage. She was also strong in the tackle.

Juliette Rayo, FC Dallas 06 - Rayo was sublime in the win over So Cal Blues. Her combination play with Jaden Thomas and Ava Mcdonald was a joy to watch. Rayo finished the game with a goal and an assist. ECNL Phoenix showed she is one of the best midfielders in the 2024 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='18921' first='Krystal' last='Medina'], So Cal Blues 06 - Medina was a bright spot for So Cal Blues in a difficult matchup against FC Dallas. She orchestrated the offense against a top side in the ECNL. She is small, but quick and extremely difficult to mark.

[player_tooltip player_id='19433' first='Gia' last='Kiesling'], So Cal Blues 06 - Kiesling made some tough saves in difficult conditions for So Cal Blues. She was confident in her decisions and had secure hands to collect the ball in traffic. She is left-footed goalkeeper to put on the radar for scouts from California.

Grace Caldwell, Beach FC 06 - Caldwell had a good competitive spirit. She does not quit on a play and is the type of player who will recover for a last second saving tackle off the line. She is a right center back - a bit on the smaller side, but makes up for it with toughness and drive. She strikes a good ball and did well in the build-up.

[player_tooltip player_id='146094' first='Maria' last='Crisera'], Beach FC 06 - Crisera is a defensive midfielder who put in some tough tackles against Challenge. I think her instincts in possession as well. She seemed to be scanning quickly for teammates.

Chloe Burst, Challenge SC 06 - Burst earned a lot of touches on the ball against Beach FC. She is a talented winger. She likes to take players on 1v1 on the wings. She has a number of moves and a quick first step to get past defenders. She is a winger to know from the 2024 class.

Anna Jacobi, Concorde Fire Platinum 06 - Jacobi made an incredible kick save against San Diego Surf. The 2024 goalkeeper from Georgia has impressive agility for the position. She is one of the top uncommitted players in the position in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='19158' first='Ava' last='Schall'], San Diego Surf 06 - Schall is listed in the uncommitted section because I can't find the Surf team roster and it doesn't look like she has a commitment on social media. However, I don't expect her to be on this list for long. She is a skillful, intelligent midfielder who does a bit of everything really well. She has the tools to be a key contributor in the center of the field at the next level. [player_tooltip player_id='33288' first='Akshaya' last='Bahugudumbi'], the left back, save a shot off the line against Concorde Fire.

Luana Veras, Mustang SC 06 - Veras provided a moment of brilliance was decisive in the game against Michigan Hawks. She brought the ball down in traffic and then finished the chance.

Emily Baraceros, Mustang 06 - Baraceros had a standout showing in the shutout over Michigan Hawks. She moved her feet and stayed in front of attackers. She had a number of blocks in the second half.

Allsyon Graff, Mustang 06 - Graff recorded the shutout in goal for Mustang against Hawks. She made a nice save on a shot off a header on a corner kick. She showed good communication skills in organizing her defense on set pieces.

[player_tooltip player_id='23232' first='Randie' last='Foor'], Michigan Hawks 06 - Foor seemed to always have the ball for Hawks. The winger shifted the field for her team to put a lot of pressure on the outside back. She is quick with the ball and likes to get the end line to provide service for her teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='23077' first='Avery' last='Nam'], Michigan Hawks 06 - Nam had a strong showing at defensive midfield. She connected passes to her teammates and even provided a few key passes. Bella Haynes was also a standout for Hawks.

[player_tooltip player_id='19265' first='Charlotte' last='Wilfert'], LAFC So Cal 06 - Wilfert made a terrific save on a shot against Dallas Texans. She was a standout at goalkeeper in a tightly contested battle against a strong Texans side.

[player_tooltip player_id='19114' first='Ariana' last='Salvador'], LAFC So Cal 06 - The attacking midfielder had some standout moments during the game against the Texans. She is a slippery dribbler who skates past defenders. She is eager to take players on and usually effective in 1v1 situations.

[player_tooltip player_id='28506' first='Emily' last='McCarthy'], FC Wisconsin 06 - McCarthy stood out as a relentless pressing forward for FC Wisconsin. The 2024 recruit showed good quality in winning the ball back for her side in dangerous spots.
