Gemma Gillespie, Eclipse Select 06 – Gillespie, the captain of the Eclipse Select 06 team, played as the right center back against Slammers FC HB Koge in the 4-3 win on Friday. She was a standout in the game for her game awareness. She did an excellent job at scanning the field and taking inventory of player placement. She made good choices with her passes – she also takes the free kicks for her side. She was a standout defensively as well.
Danielle Gichner, Eclipse Select 06 – Gichner, the other center back for Eclipse, was the perfect partner for Gillespie. They played off each other and compliment each’s strengths. Gichner did well in the tackle. She was smart in her challenges and timed her tackles well.

Olivia Walinski Olivia Walinski F Foothill | 2024 State #208 Nation CA , Pleasanton Rage 06 – Walinski ran away from defenders with ease. With an electric burst, she caught the eye of many scouts in attendance. The 2024 forward is a handful for defenders. She is quick on the turn and hard to dispossess.
Jenna McDonnell, Pleasanton Rage 06 – McDonnell stood out to me for her passing. She hit a couple of clean passes to split the lines against Sporting CA. She puts the ball on her teammates foot with pace, an excellent quality that will transition to the next level.

Ava Schall Ava Schall M State CA , San Diego Surf 06 – Schall is listed in the uncommitted section because I can’t find the Surf team roster and it doesn’t look like she has a commitment on social media. However, I don’t expect her to be on this list for long. She is a skillful, intelligent midfielder who does a bit of everything really well. She has the tools to be a key contributor in the center of the field at the next level.
